Teaching Contemporary China with Choices Units
This webinar will feature an introduction to two Choices Program curriculum units: the 2019 edition of China on the World Stage and Climate Change and Questions of Justice (includes a case study on China).
This webinar will be conducted via Zoom. One or two days before the webinar, accepted participants will receive the Zoom link from Maureen Stephens at the Choices Program.
Co-sponsored by Five College Center for East Asian Studies (FCCEAS)Participants who submit a one-page implementation plan to FCCEAS (deadline tbd) will receive their pick of one of the Choices units: China on the World Stage or Climate Change and Questions of Justice.
Limited to 25 participants, with priority given to in-service K-12 teachers in New England or upstate New York. Rolling acceptance for priority teachers, with a registration deadline of Monday, August 3. Teachers from other regions will be notified of their status beginning August 4.
