Addressing climate change is a national priority. Are your students ready to join the conversation?
The newly updated Climate Change and Questions of Justice unit (third edition, December 2020) includes readings, short videos, and lessons on carbon taxes, documentary films, and case studies that examine mitigation and adaptation strategies implemented around the world. Data sets and images have been updated throughout the unit. Information on the Sunrise Movement, the Green New Deal, Greta Thunberg, and the Paris Climate Agreement is included.
We’ll experience the Policy and the Media lesson (provided) and discuss ways to implement the unit in any geography or contemporary issues classroom.
