Torrence Williams
Choices Teaching Fellow
Torrence Williams is the 2017 High School Teacher of the Year for the state of Louisiana. He taught an array of Social Studies classes at West Feliciana High School in Louisiana, including Civics, World History, World Geography, and Law Studies. Torrence also worked in various other capacities such as homebound/outreach teacher, mock trial sponsor (State runner up for 2016), Beta sponsor, SADD sponsor, and Interact sponsor. He has presented at several Louisiana Council for Social Studies conferences and National Council for the Studies conferences. He is currently an Assistant Principal at Bains Elementary School in West Feliciana.
