Ashley Everson is a PhD student in Brown University’s Department of Africana Studies whose research focuses on the intersections of Black women’s intellectual history, labor history, and Black internationalism. She earned a B.A. in Social Thought and Political Economy as well as an M.A. in Political Science from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst.
